ISI Recall
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 06/13/12 -- Jascor Housewares, the distributor of Twist 'n Sparkle home beverage carbonation system (Starter Set: Model 100530, 100532, ISITNS10 or ISITNS20 and extra Bottle Sets Model 100630 or 100632), today announced the total recall of the portable appliance and additional bottles. The recall, conducted in cooperation with Health Canada, was prompted by reports of seven incidents in the United States in which the bottle which contains the beverage during operation, burst. In addition, the Twist 'n Sparkle branded CO2 gas chargers (Model 000630, 000632 or ISICO240) which were marketed in conjunction with the system, and also activate the device, though safe, are also being recalled, in order to further ensure that the appliances are not used.
All consumers who are in possession of the appliances are urged to stop using them immediately. Those who purchased them at retail stores should return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund of the purchase price. For those customers who purchased them online, they should contact the online retailers for instructions on how to ship the returns and receive a refund. Appliances and separate cartridges must be shipped by ground only by carriers such as UPS and FedEx.
For those consumers who do not know the source of the appliance, such those that may have received as gifts, they may contact Jascor Housewares Inc. at 514-685-3660 for return instructions. Consumer information concerning the recall is also available at .
Consumers are further being urged to tell others they know who may have purchased or received the appliance to also return them.
