Regency Beauty Institute Takes 3 Top Honors at 2012 Wella Professionals Trend Vision Regional Competition

(firmenpresse) - MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- (Marketwire) -- 06/14/12 -- Regency Beauty Institute students took the top awards at this year's Wella Professionals Regional Trend Vision competition held at The Walker Art Center.

The competition is open to cosmetology students, young professionals and professionals over 30. Regency students took the top 3 spots in the student competition. Jamyla Griffin (Elgin campus) took 1st place; Julia Vang (Maplewood campus) took 2nd place; and Kristi Edmondson (Elgin campus) took 3rd place.

Wella Professionals, a subsidiary of P&G Salon Professionals, is a leading innovator in hair trends, style, and color. Trend Vision is a showcase of Wella's annual hair fashion collections, and is an inspiration to stylists worldwide. Hundreds of cosmetology students from the region entered the competition. All entries were judged by Wella Professionals, and students who made it through the primaries were invited to the competition in Minneapolis.
