Utah Attorney General Candidate Sean Reyes Dismisses Radio Attack as Shameful
(firmenpresse) - SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (Marketwire) -- 06/14/12 -- today responded to a local radio ad purchased by an outside Freedom Works-like PAC that uses edited sound bites to "attack" Reyes' staff for an early administrative mistake that was dismissed by the Utah Lieutenant Governor without further action several months ago.
According to Reyes: "It's a pity John's team feels they need to use these types of tactics to mislead voters. To clarify, the matter mentioned in the radio advertisement was an administrative itemization mistake and a non-story. In fact, the complaint was dismissed by the Lt. Governor's office as frivolous. Unfortunately, and to take attention from more serious matters at hand, this issue has been taken out of context to gain political momentum where there is clearly no substance.
"Utahns are smarter than this. We know voters will reject this type of suspicious, Super PAC campaigning," said Reyes.
Utah Attorney General Candidate Sean Reyes will be speaking with constituents at a town hall meeting at 8 p.m. tonight in Spanish Fork at the Spanish Fork High School.
