Berger Kahn Welcomes Rebecca Simon -- New Summer Associate and Daughter of Managing Partner
(firmenpresse) - IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/15/12 -- Typically, law firms do not announce the hiring of a new summer associate, but when the summer associate is the first born of longtime Berger Kahn Managing Partner, the firm makes an exception.

New summer associate, daughter Rebecca Simon, has always shown a propensity for law, trying many cases on the mock trial team at the Orange County Superior Court as a high school student. Says father Craig Simon, "She was better in court than most trial attorneys before she graduated 12th grade."
"I plan to be nice to her, because one day she will probably be in charge of my salary," says Partner Sherman Spitz.
With the knowledge and experience she will gain at Berger Kahn, Rebecca Simon has aspirations for a political career but father Craig Simon hopes to dash those plans and entice her to stay at Berger Kahn.
Rebecca graduated with nearly a 4.0 GPA from the University of California, Berkeley, as a double major in English and Political Science with two Honors Theses. She currently attends Southwestern Law School and has been accepted at the Pardee RAND Graduate School for Public Policy. Simon is active in LA political activities. She served as the campaign manager for an LA City Council candidate in 2008. Prior to law school, Simon was a media strategist for a "high profile" NBC Legal Analyst in Los Angeles.
