Vittorio Violo Appointed as a Director of the Company
(firmenpresse) - LAVAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 06/19/12 -- NQ Exploration Inc. ("NQ") (TSX VENTURE: NQE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Vittorio Violo as a director of the Company. Mr. Violo will replace Mr. Perrier as a member of the Audit Committee.
Vittorio Violo is a director of Odesia Group Inc. (TSX-V: ODS). He is also the COO of PNS-TECH Inc., a Quebec-based manufacturer, and serves on various strategic management committees of Sigma Industries, a publicly-traded company on the TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Violo worked for eight years in Canadian capital markets as an investment advisor, where he developed expertise in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. During this period, Mr. Violo successfully completed a number of Canadian Securities Institute management courses, including Investment Management Techniques and Partner, Directors and Senior Officer.
As a director, Mr. Violo will receive 250,000 options. Each option entitles its holder to purchase one share of the Company at a price of $0.10 for a five-year period. The shares are subject to a four-month hold period.
We also regret to announce the departure of Christian Perrier, a director of the Company. Mr. Grondin thanks Mr. Perrier for his contribution and wishes him every success in his future endeavours.
The above-mentioned transactions are subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
