Toshiba Receives Distinguished Service Award From Orange County Chapter, Public Relations Society of America
Toshiba Also Lauded for Social Media and Blog Programs

This award is given in recognition of an organization that supports the public relations profession and helps set a standard for the practice of public relations. Toshiba also won Awards of Excellence for its Social Media and Blog programs.

Brian Metherell, vice president and general manager of Toshiba's Telecommunication Systems Division, accepted the Distinguished Service Award on behalf of Toshiba at the OC PRSA PROTOS Awards event held on Friday, June 1 at the OC Fair in Costa Mesa, Calif.
The Awards of Excellence for Toshiba's social media and blog programs were accepted by Brice Green and Matt Curtis of the social media team, which is led by Raleigh Gerber, social media strategist with T&Co. Public Relations of Huntington Beach, Calif. The award also honors social media team member Pete Ambriz as well as contributions from Toshiba's marketing and PR team including Gail Miller, marketing director; Jon Nelson, product marketing manager; Nisha Sheth, marketing manager; and Teri Sawyer of T&Co.
