Vote for the Colorado mountain town on Facebook: and have a chance to win your own five-day adventure. This year, for its 35th anniversary issue in October, Outside teamed up with the environmental non-profit American Rivers and contest sponsor Good N Natural. They have identified the top 10 river towns in the U.S. and are calling on the public to help select the best one from a pool of ten finalists in the Best Town Ever Facebook app.
Durango's plethora of outdoor adventures feature high mountain rivers and lakes for kayaking, fishing, boating, walking and bike paths, and riverfront parks. Combined with a positive environmental story, this small Colorado mountain town is a water playground.
