Olympic Medalists & AMJ Campbell Build Excitement, Support on Olympic Day

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO -- (Marketwire) -- 06/21/12 -- AMJ Campbell, who recently announced its status as "Official Mover of the Canadian Olympic Team", will be hosting Olympic Day celebrations at two Toronto-area locations on Saturday, June 23rd. Free and open to the public, the events will feature Canadian Olympic medalists who will be on hand to greet fans, sign autographs and cheer on this year's Canadian Olympic Team.

Anyone who joins the celebrations will have the opportunity to meet Mark McKoy, gold medalist in the 110m Hurdles; Mike Harris, silver medalist in Curling; and Becky Kellar and Jayna Hefford, both 3-time gold medalists in Women's Hockey. Kids will get to show off their own athletic skills by competing in the mini-Olympics.

"The purpose for these events is to build excitement and support for this summer's Canadian Olympic Team," states Bruce Bowser, president of AMJ Campbell. "We wanted to do something to build enthusiasm at a community level." Canadian Olympic fans will get to show their support by signing the "Good Luck Canada" banners that will be taken to London later this summer.

Both events will run from 12 pm to 4 pm and will be held in Georgetown, Ontario at Georgetown Market Place and in Mississauga, Ontario at Heartland Town Center.
