Sberbank Participated in Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum
June 25, 2012, Moscow - Sberbank participated in the activities of Saint
Petersburg International Economic Forum. At the Forum, Sberbank signed 11
agreements, including agreements with Export-Import Bank of the United
States, HSBC Bank PLC, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Boeing, Basic Element
Group and Changi Airports International. In addition, Sberbank renewed its
five-year agreement with Microsoft.
At the Forum, Sberbank arranged a business breakfast with representatives
of the Government of Russia and also held its own session on the topic A
Way out from Managerial Dead End: Wisdom of the Crowd or Authoritarian
Genius? Both events facilitated by Sberbank President and Chairman of the
Board German Gref were broadcast live by Russia-24 TV channel.
At the Forum, Sberbank presented its stand The Future Comes Today, where
the bank introduced its Business Environment (Delovaya Sreda) Project. The
main objective of Business Environment Project is becoming a convenient and
accessible business platform.
A number of Sberbank top managers, such as Senior Vice President Denis
Bugrov, Senior Vice President Victor Orlovsky, Vice President for Small
Business Development Sergey Borisov and Director of Sberbank's
Macroeconomic Research Center Ksenia Yudaeva participated in panel
discussions, debates and round-tables.
Sberbank of Russia is the General Partner of the 16th Saint Petersburg
International Economic Forum SPIEF 2012.

become one of the most effective forums in its history,' said Sberbank
President and Chairman of the Board German Gref. 'Sberbank is satisfied
with its activity within the forum, having completed all tasks it had
