Heijmans signs agreement for Talent Building Amsterdam

Using the brand name Proper-Stok, Heijmans today signs a partnership agreement
with the Nieuw-West Urban District of the Municipality of Amsterdam for the
development of the Talent Building. This building forms part of the Podium
Amsterdam area development. Heijmans will take on the building's development and
construction.
The signing represents the start of the development of the Talent Building that
will include the O'Talent Experience, an experiential world for talent
development in the Netherlands produced by the Kranendonk Experience Company.
The O'Talent Experience will add an important destination to the Lelylaan in
Amsterdam Nieuw-West. The O'Talent Experience will enable visitors, day trippers
as well as companies, to discover their talents in an instructive and playful
way.
The Talent Building concept is entirely focused on accommodating and developing
talent, and on creating a meeting place for talent. The building will also
include approximately 300 student residences, catering facilities and additional
services. Start on the construction of the Talent Building is planned for 2014.
The Podium Amsterdam area development, of which the Talent Building forms part,
comprises more than 30,000 m2 in programming space. Additional homes, and
cultural and social institutions will still be constructed in the area between
the A10 ring road and the Amsterdam Lelylaan NS Railway Station.
