Varian Medical Systems was looking for a CCMS solution that would streamline their documentation process, allow collaboration between geographically dispersed teams, and decrease their localization and publishing costs.
Varian is a producer of medical devices and software for treating cancer and other medical conditions with radiotherapy, radiosurgery, and brachytherapy. The company also supplies informatics software for managing comprehensive cancer clinics, radiotherapy centers and medical oncology practices. They employ approximately 6,000 people who are located across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Varian's technical publication team uses the IXIASOFT DITA CMS for the creation, management, localization and multi-channel delivery of their entire documentation.
