Seasoned Sales and Marketing Leader to Help Continue Fueling Jingit's Rapid Growth

(firmenpresse) - MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- (Marketwire) -- 06/28/12 -- Jingit (), the first company to give consumers instant cash for watching online ads or checking in and shopping for select products at their favorite stores, today welcomed Tom Venable as the company's Vice President of Revenue. Venable brings to Jingit more than 20 years of experience driving revenue growth for companies with software, e-commerce and Internet business models. In this role, Venable will lead all facets of the company's revenue generating activity including recruiting leading brand and retail partners to utilize the Jingit platform, as well as growing the community of Jingit users that ultimately become the consumers of those corporate partners. With the growth of these three constituencies, Jingit anticipates exponential growth in its brand awareness, engagements and revenue.

"Jingit creates a win-win for consumers and brands, and our unique value proposition is driving rapid adoption," said Joe Rogness, co-CEO of Jingit. "We're the first company to compensate consumers with instant cash for the time they spend interacting with brands. And as a result, brands get critical consumer insight and the opportunity to engage with their target customer throughout the marketing lifecycle. Tom's background and passion for working with innovative businesses make him a perfect fit for guiding us through our next phase of high growth."

Said Venable, "The goal for any brand, whether it's the Fortune 500 or a small Main Street business, is to engage with customers and drive them from online or mobile ecosystems to the point of transaction. Jingit is taking a remarkably unique approach to forging a respectful, ongoing and increasingly contextual conversation between brands and their target consumers. I'm thrilled to work with Jingit's leadership team to continue building our roster of top brand and ad agency clients."

For most of the previous decade, Venable served as senior vice president of sales and business development with e-commerce pioneer Digital River, Inc. During Venable's tenure, the company grew by a 10x factor and became the global leader in outsourced e-commerce and e-marketing solutions. Prior to Jingit, Venable served as senior vice president, sales and marketing for Rainmaker, a global provider of e-commerce solutions and telesales services. There, he led the company's sales and marketing organization, playing a major leadership role in growing the company's B2B e-commerce and telesales business. Venable began his career with the 3M Company, rising in his first year to the company's number two sales performer in the Automotive Trades Group.

As the first company to give consumers instant cash for watching online ads or checking in and shopping for select products at their favorite stores, Jingit's ad platform and mobile app deliver a practical solution to consumers' frustrations with advertising, while satiating their growing appetite for discounts, deals and offers from brands.
