Notice: 2012 Second Quarter Results Conference Call Notice

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 07/03/12 -- The Company's results for the 2012 second quarter will be issued by press release on Thursday, August 2, 2012. Please note, as in accordance with the general guidelines of the TSX Manual, Russel Metals Inc. is adopting the practice of releasing all non-material announcements after the close of business at 5:00 p.m. ET.

An Investor Conference Call will be hosted by Brian R. Hedges, President and Chief Executive Officer and Marion E. Britton, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. ET to review the results. In order to accommodate the later release of our non-material results, we will now start the investor conference at 10:00 a.m. instead of 9:00 a.m.

The dial-in telephone numbers for the call are 416-340-2216 (Toronto and International callers) and 1-866-226-1792 (U.S. and Canada). Please dial in 10 minutes prior to the call to ensure that you get a line.

A replay of the call will be available at 905-694-9451 (Toronto and International callers) and 1-800-408-3053 (U.S. and Canada) until midnight, Friday, August 17, 2012. You will be required to enter pass code 2119799 in order to access the call.
