Barona Awards Golden Keys for Brand New Cars to Five Players in the Golden Key Grand Finale
Another 50 Players Win Share of $50,000 in Cash Prizes

Another 50 players each won $1,000 just for entering the Golden Key giveaway over the course of the 39-day promotion which began on May 21 and ended in a grand finale celebration.
Instead of waiting for the golden key holders to select one of the five cars displayed in the promotion, Barona's Casino Managers gave each of the five golden key recipients $77,350, which is the sticker price for the most expensive car in the promotion, the Escalade. The winners could choose to take the cash or receive a voucher to purchase one of the cars and receive the cash balance of the $77,350.
"The promotion really created a lot of excitement on the casino floor," said Rick Salinas, general manager of Barona Resort & Casino. "One winner told us his car just broke down two days prior to winning his Golden Key and was overwhelmed by the win. It was great to see that captivating smile on his face and the faces of all the other winners."
The lucky Golden Key winners -- Roxanne H., Emma B., Victor F., Duy H., and Letitia R. -- are all from San Diego and were all at Barona for the grand finale drawing, but in typical Barona fashion they didn't have to be present to claim the prize.
