Exclusive Lake Hartwell Home Sites to Sell in Hagen Auction
(firmenpresse) - HARTWELL, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/06/12 -- Four waterfront home sites in the exclusive Cedar Hills community on Lake Hartwell could go for half or less of their previous listing prices when auctions them on Aug. 4.
"Our seller has agreed to sell these deep water home sites at a fraction of their previous prices. That's remarkable when you consider that this is the premier development in one of the most exclusive communities of one of the South's most scenic lakes," said Jim Yosten, vice president of the auction company.
"A 1.91-acre lot with a previous asking price of $325,000 will sell for a trigger price of as little as $150,000. Another -- previously priced at $295,000 -- will sell to the highest bidder over $99,000," said Yosten. Two other sites were previously priced at $295,000 and will sell to the highest bidder over $125,000.
"These wooded home sites have gorgeous big-water views. Each one already has a new single-slip dock with a swim platform in place. Owners are protected by restrictive covenants that require at least 1,700 square feet on the first floor of all dwellings," he said.

Later the same day, Hagen will auction a waterfront cove lot in the Mountain View subdivision of the lake. The lot is located near a boat ramp and will sell to the highest bidder over $35,000. The auction will begin at 4 p.m.
