Bellevue Group with net profit of CHF 8 million for the first half
of 2012
- Expected Group net profit of about CHF 8 million
- Positive operating result at Bank am Bellevue and Bellevue Asset Management
- No further need for extraordinary write-downs and impairments as in
previous year
The Board of Directors and the Group Executive Board of Bellevue Group today
decided to issue an ad hoc announcement for the company's shareholders, clients
and employees.
According to preliminary consolidated results, Bellevue Group is expecting its
after-tax profits for the first half of 2012 to amount to approximately CHF 8
million. In the corresponding period for last year Bellevue Group reported
extraordinary write-downs and impairments of CHF 48 million. Based on the latest
assessment of future earnings, there is no need for further write-downs or
impairments at the current time. The first half results for the current year
will therefore deviate significantly from the equivalent period last-year.
Bellevue Group will publish its first half results on July 27, 2012.
