Weir Oil and Gas Names John Jameson as President of Weir Seaboard
Wellhead and Pressure Control Business Growing
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 07/10/12 -- Weir Oil and Gas announced that has been appointed President of Weir Seaboard. In this role, Jameson will be responsible for strategic direction of Weir Seaboard and the achievement of yearly sales and profit targets.

Jameson has a wealth of upstream experience; he began his career with Halliburton as a field engineer and held a variety of roles over a span of 16 years, and ultimately rose to the position of global business unit manager. Following Halliburton, John spent 12 years at Weatherford where he began as Global Business Unit Manager for their PCP business and was promoted to Senior Vice President for the US Region, leading a conglomerate of business segments including the Weatherford Wellhead business.

John received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his Masters of Business Administration from Centenary College. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Petroleum Engineering).
Weir Seaboard manufactures engineered wellheads and pressure control equipment and provides a range of field and support services, such as equipment rental for onshore applications.
Weir's Oil & Gas division is the leading supplier of high pressure pumping equipment to the upstream oil and gas market. The division also produces wellhead solutions and a range of flow control products targeted at the high pressure applications found in the pressure pumping market. Weir's Oil and Gas service operations support clients across North America, the Middle East and Europe. The division's downstream operations manufacture process pumps for use in the hydrocarbon processing industries. In 2011 the division reported revenues of $1.2 billion and employed over 3,000 staff.
