Barbecue-With-the-Docs Program Targets Men's Health Issues
Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center Hosts July 24 Event at The Standard Bar
(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 07/16/12 -- Men can enjoy a tasty barbecue dinner while learning how to live healthier and happier lives at a program, "Grills, Guys and Good Health" from 6 to 8 p.m. on July 24 at The Standard Bar, 1332 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago. Sponsored by Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center (SMEMC), the program will feature six doctors from a wide range of specialties.
Participants will learn about colon cancer and prostate health. Other topics will include preventive methods to protect the joints, feet, heart and more. The SMEMC healthcare experts will discuss weight management, how to quit smoking and overall good health.
SMEMC speakers include:

The program is open to men and women. There are great raffle prizes, including four all-inclusive Cubs' rooftop tickets and two club-level White Sox tickets. Participants will have an opportunity to ask the physicians questions following the presentation. The program is $25 per person or $30 per couple, and includes dinner at The Standard Bar.
