Leading Business Intelligence Provider Appoints InfoBuild as Full Representative in South Africa
(firmenpresse) - JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/23/12 -- Information Builders, a leader in () and , , and solutions, today announced further expansion into South Africa with the appointment of InfoBuild as a new full representative in the country.
Established to further Information Builders' goal of providing industry-leading BI solutions to corporations and governments worldwide, InfoBuild has its offices in Johannesburg and will serve regional customers and partners throughout the region. InfoBuild's Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) partner is Sasuka, which has a proven track record in providing business intelligence solutions and services to South African companies. Johan Jurd will serve as managing director of InfoBuild South Africa.
The opening of this office, which will be the continent headquarters, is a testament to the company's commitment to the South African market, including its existing customers, and pursuit of a broad-based strategy in the country. There are currently more than 20 Information Builders sites in South Africa. The company is well positioned to capitalize on the region's developing economies and its need for new technologies. With a dedicated office, Information Builders will be able to further expand upon its current and new business activity and increase its regional presence. The company will be able to pursue new industry sectors and offer a wider range of consultancy and professional services to existing and future clients.
With the expansion of Information Builders into South Africa, Johan has the opportunity to boost Information Builders' presence in the region significantly, and will work closely with Sam Tsitsi Motsumi, chief executive officer of Sasuka. Johan's role is to manage the partner network in the region and also become the local presence of Information Builders for the company's African client base.
