LexisNexis(R) Awarded Residency Management Contract by Massachusetts Health Connector
Company to Leverage ID Management Solution to Verify the Accuracy of Resident Information
(firmenpresse) - ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/26/12 -- LexisNexis® Risk Solutions today announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide residency management solutions for the Massachusetts Health Insurance Connector Authority (Health Connector). LexisNexis now leverages its identity management solutions to verify the residency information of certain individuals seeking to participate in the exchange.

"LexisNexis Identity Management Solutions enable the Health Connector to verify that individuals applying for the program are residents of Massachusetts -- a vital component to detecting and preventing fraud and improper utilization of the system."
Massachusetts law requires that most residents 18 years of age or older purchase health insurance. Under the contract, LexisNexis will provide residency verification of individuals applying for an unsubsidized Health Connector program -- Commonwealth Choice. Specifically, LexisNexis will leverage its data analytics and linking technology solutions to verify the applicant's residence.
