Class I, division 2 approval allows TBox LP SCADA systems to operate in hazardous atmospheres such as those in natural gas installations as well as at digesters or sewer lines in the wastewater treatment industry. The ultra low-power, battery-operated TBox LP RTU is ideal for installation in remote areas in which it supervises assets in the chemical, environmental, oil & gas, transportation, utility, and water / wastewater industries. The new ratings significantly expand the applications for the compact, IP68-rated, TBox LP integrated package.
The TBox LP RTU employs an innovative, decentralized architecture that enables the complete integration of programmable automation, alarm management, data logging and IP telemetry in a single, rugged package.
