Youth N.O.W. of Watsonville Receives Support
Labhart Miles Celebrates 10th Anniversary by Donating to Local Non-Profit
(firmenpresse) - SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/30/12 -- Silicon Valley-based firm Labhart Miles Consulting Group, Inc. named Youth N.O.W. to receive $1,000 as the fourth installment of their $10,000 Charity Initiative, which will run through December 2012. A new charity will be selected to receive Labhart Miles' gift each month in honor of the firm's 10th anniversary.
"We greatly appreciate Labhart Miles' generous donation and their willingness to support some of the great work that is going on at the Youth N.O.W. Student Center," said Missy Nielsen, Director of Community Outreach for Youth N.O.W. "From pencils to Legacy donations, every contribution has a significant impact on our ability to meet the needs of our youth."
Youth N.O.W. is dedicated to the academic and social support of youth in their community. Their learning center offers adult or peer tutoring, homework help, school project resources, computer labs, and printing services and their staff and volunteers are passionate about cultivating and helping students realize their unique potential.
"We are thrilled our gift can help make a difference in the lives of young people, which is really the whole point of our $10,000 Charity Initiative," said Monika Miles, President of Labhart Miles.
Labhart Miles will select charities in a variety of fields, from soup kitchens and food banks to children's organizations and cancer societies. In addition to non-profits that are near and dear to the principals' hearts, they're looking for causes that provide valuable services to the greater community.
Youth N.O.W. is a program of EternityWorks (a 501(c)(3) non-profit humanitarian organization) dedicated to developing the youth of our community in self-efficacy and self-esteem, equipping them to live healthy and productive lives. They are committed to becoming a true youth community within Watsonville where youth can find resources to help them complete their education, participate in recreational activities, and find a safe social environment. .
