Seiko Instruments, leading manufacturer of thermal printer mechanisms, has now met this demand and is happy to introduce an Android Software Developing Kit (SDK) for their Mobile Printer Series DPU-S245 and DPU-S445.

Connect the DPU-S via USB or Bluetooth® to any Android driven devices (Version 2.3 onwards), for example tablet PC or Smart Phone, and get on with your mobile printing business. Varying print speeds of 100mm/s and 90mm/s make the DPU-S Series fully capable of delivering fast results when time is money.

The Seiko Instruments Android SDK gives you the liberty to handle basic data types such as images and texts with relative ease. It has never been that simple to connect or disconnect, send text or binary data, to obtain the printer status or to set international character codes.

Light weight and able to print up to 20.000 lines with one single battery charge: The DPU-S gives you the durability you need during a long work shift.
