Woodside Petroleum Limited (ASX:WPL) (Perth, Australia) is the operator of the gas export project, and has been progressing with plans to build and operate a 12 million-metric-ton-per-year processing facility. Woodside Petroleum is working in partnership with (NYSE:BHP) (Melbourne, Australia); (NYSE:BP) (BP plc) (London, England); (NYSE:CVX) (San Ramon, California); Shell Developments Australia, a subsidiary of (NYSE:RDS.A) (The Hague, Netherlands); and Japan Australia LNG (MIMI), a 50:50 joint venture between (NASDAQ:MITSY) (Tokyo, Japan) and (OTC:MSBHY) (Tokyo).
