Parcel Delivery Destinations Affected by the London 2012 Olympic Games
(firmenpresse) - LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 08/03/12 -- During the London 2012 Olympic Games there will be heightened security measures in place for deliveries to venues and hotels involved with the games. These restrictions will mean that deliveries to these affected venues will be handled exclusively by the Olympic partner, UPS. They have added an extra GBP 20 screening charge and GBP 5 delivery charge for supplying the affected locations.
Below are the venues and dates for which deliveries will be subject to the additional charge. Our customer service team will be available to discuss parcel delivery and payment options. All parcels for the locations below during the time frames shown will be held at one of our local depots until we have discussed your options.
The UK Mail Group and its specialist service ipostparcels have made all provisions within their power to ensure that services are as unaffected as possible by working with TFL, Metropolitan Police, local authorities and DHL Supply Chain to ensure that the customer's needs are met.
