Company Upgrades from EFI PrintSmith to Pace in its Three Locations
(PresseBox) - 08.2012 - EFI(TM) today announced that long-time customer First Edge Solutions has selected EFI Pace(TM) to integrate and streamline the workflow at its three locations.
First Edge Solutions specialises in full-service print, direct mail, document management, and marketing communications. The company has been a happy EFI PrintSmith(TM) user for 9 years and operates Fiery® Driven printers, but with the growth of the company to three production plants nationwide the time was right to upgrade to EFI Pace.
"After taking an in-depth look at print MIS options we decided to stay with the leader in the market, and selected EFI Pace to integrate everything into a single workflow," said Robert King, chief technology officer at First Edge Solutions. The company will install Pace in its Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA) headquarters as well as its plants in Phoenix, Arizona and Atlanta, Georgia.
"The browser-based nature of Pace means that everyone across the company will have access to the same information from wherever they are," continued King. "The system will greatly improve efficiencies in our operations, especially in accounting, which is now an exercise in frustration each month. The Pace estimating tool will be a powerful addition, as it will enable us to truly look at our costs, set consistent pricing and fine-tune our estimates. And with our Fiery-driven printers connected to our EFI MIS we'll have a unique ability to drive automation in our workflow.
