Cordy Announces Appointment of New Board Member
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, CANADA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/10/12 -- CORDY OILFIELD SERVICES INC. ("Cordy") ("Corporation") (TSX VENTURE: CKK) is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Melvin Ternan as a new director of Cordy.
Mr. Ternan has over 25 years experience in providing major equipment fleets for the construction and pipeline industries. Most recently, Mr. Ternan was the President of PipeLine Machinery International, a global Caterpillar dealership dedicated to the pipeline construction industry, where he developed and led a team of pipeline specialists to make the international dealership one of Caterpillar's leading sales organizations.
The Board of Directors is looking forward to working with Mr. Ternan and believes that his extensive experience in the pipeline construction industry and his strong network of project and equipment contacts worldwide will be a significant asset to the Corporation.
Mr. Ternan has been granted 150,000 options to purchase common shares of the Corporation. The Options expire 5 years from the date of grant and have an exercise price of $0.29. One-third of the Options will vest every 12 months for a period of 3 years.
