(Thomson Reuters ONE) -

(Oslo 15.3.2010) The impact on Cermaq's operation in Chile from the earthquake
27( th) February is now fully assessed. No employees or their closest families
were injured. There were limited damage on the feed plant in Coronel, and feed
production started again Friday 12( th) March 2010. The financial impact on
Cermaq's results is not expected to exceed NOK 15 million.

After testing of all equipment in the plant, the production started Friday with
four production lines running double shifts through the week end, and the plant
is now running at normal activity level.

EWOS Chile will from now on be self sufficient on feed deliveries, combining
this new production with the stocks existing inventory and volumes already
supplied from an external supplier. We expect to be self sufficient on all feed
products from next week.

Reconstruction of the limited damage to the plant will be started in due course.
The company's insurance covers damages to our factory caused by earthquakes.

As earlier stated the impact on Mainstream's farming operations was limited, and
operations are running as normal.

Total financial impact of the earthquake is not expected to exceed NOK 15
million and is mainly related to EWOS' operations.
