MILESTONE Announces Kristi Ledwein as Vice President of People

Today, the company announced the appointment of Kristi H. Ledwein as the Vice President of People. Known as a change agent, Ledwein will move the company forward during this high growth period.
Ledwein's extensive experience in Human Resources and Business Operations is an essential addition to the organization of MILESTONE's staff. Ledwein will lead and guide the Recruiting & Staffing, Human Resources, and Administration departments.
Ledwein believes in building sustainable People programs; with a focus on building a healthy workforce through communication, accountability and training, and community involvement. Ledwein's Human Resource expertise and business development knowledge will be put to use in the core of MILESTONE. Ledwein's strongest skills are in the areas of leadership, team and people development, and creating highly engaged workforces. Ledwein's initial focus will be "to understand how each role plays into the success of the company's vision and aligning the People Strategy to the goals of MILESTONE," explained Ledwein. "My goal is to empower people to get the best out of everyone's strengths, and this all starts with understanding the culture of each department," said Ledwein.

Ledwein has over 22 years of Human Resources experience. Having grown up through the ranks of Human Resources, Ledwein has built companies from 50 to over 6,000+ people. Most recently, Ledwein was the Vice President, Senior Director of Human Resources at Serious Energy, where she was responsible for multiple objectives including organizational development, legal and union labor relations, and full data and logistics analysis of mergers and acquisitions.
Before taking the role at Serious, Ledwein worked for five years at Mercedes-Benz as the Senior Manager/Director of Human Resources. Ledwein led the development and delivery of several strategic organizational initiatives, as well as provided employee development and employee relations to a base of 6000+ employees.
Ledwein has studied at San Jose State University and is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She grew up in San Jose, is spontaneous when it comes to taking trips, regularly stops to smell the roses, and has a 20 year old son going to school full-time and working.
