Watchfire Signs Taps Dave Warns as Vice President, On-Premise Sales
(firmenpresse) - DANVILLE, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 08/21/12 -- Watchfire Signs (), a manufacturer of digital on-premise and outdoor LED signs, announced it has hired Dave Warns as vice president of on-premise sales, leading the organization's efforts to drive sales while providing the highest level of customer service.
Warns is an accomplished sales executive with nearly 20 years experience leading organizations to double-digit sales growth. Before joining Watchfire, Warns was vice president of industrial sales for Standard Register Company, where he led a staff of nearly 50 professionals generating $80 million in annual sales. He also has held senior level positions with AutoZone and Cintas Corporation.
Warns is an Army veteran, and graduated from The United States Military Academy in West Point, N.Y. He earned an MBA from Harvard University.
"Watchfire has very aggressive growth and innovation goals, so we really need someone of Dave's caliber to help guide sales growth while also maintaining the high level of customer service for which Watchfire is known," said Steve Harriott, President and CEO of Watchfire Signs.
In May, Watchfire broke ground on an expanded manufacturing and office facility, adding 110,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and 17,000 sq. ft. of office space in Danville, Ill., to accommodate the company's anticipated growth.
