Phoenix Children's Academy Selects AIS (American Internet Services) Enterprise-Class Data Center to Accommodate Critical Infrastructure Needs

Though Phoenix Children's Academy has three data centers throughout the United States, to fulfill and meet their critical infrastructure needs they decided to focus in the San Diego region where they already have staff in place. After analyzing all of the local San Diego providers, PCA chose the AIS Lightwave Data Center to host their exchange servers, conferencing servers, and fail-over voice over IP needs.

The company has recently completed an upgrade to the power and cooling infrastructure for its Lightwave datacenter. The expansion increased the facility's utility service from 3MW up to 12MW with 9MW available immediately. It also added 5MW of generator capacity and 3.7MW of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) capacity.
