With the National Conventions just around the corner and the highly anticipated presidential election, the political season is starting to gear up in Washington, D.C. hotel's Lobby Bar will celebrate the occasion with delectable cocktail and menu offerings inspired by locally sourced favorites from each presidential and vice presidential candidate's home town.

Choose your cocktail choose your candidate -- beginning August 27 through November 6th, The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C. invites you to elevate your "inner politician" with one of their presidential cocktails. "Believe" in Romney? Enjoy a made with bourbon, muddled strawberries and oranges, Peychauds Bitters and topped with a "conservative" splash of Club soda. "Forward" with Obama? Salute your allegiance with a , made with a "liberal" pour of bourbon, fresh blueberries, Angostura Bitters, and topped with Ginger Ale.

The luxury hotel's will also feature running mate beer and slider parings sourced from each Vice President candidate's respective home towns. The menu will feature beer and from Wisconsin as well as and Delaware .
