David is chief software architect at Solarflare. In January of 2006, Solarflare merged with Level 5 Networks, originally called Cambridge Internetworking, which he co-founded in 2002. Previously, David worked at AT&T Laboratories-Cambridge. He completed a Ph.D. at the Laboratory for Communications Engineering (now the Digital Technology Group) of the University of Cambridge Engineering Department and is a member of Downing College. His research and development interests lie in the field of high performance networking, from low level protocols and system software to application-level interfaces.
