The deployment satisfies the growing demand for connectivity from clients and will enable spectators to enjoy a better, more connected experience during sales and other prominent events.
Tattersalls is the world's oldest, and Europe's largest, bloodstock auctioneers, specialising in thoroughbred horses. The grounds at Park Paddocks extend to some 43 acres with approximately 820 horses on site at any given time. Tattersalls' main sale at the end of the year sees a turnaround of two and a half thousand horses in the course of two weeks. Rowlands explained: "The beauty of the Xirrus solution is fewer cable runs and more densely populated radio coverage for large crowds. Xirrus was a clear choice over the competition as it provided superior coverage with fewer devices. With so many people in the ring, we were looking for performance that could meet high density demands, and we found it with Xirrus."
