Swinerton Builders Named 2012 Best Places to Work in Orange County
(firmenpresse) - IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/30/12 -- The Fourth Annual Orange County Business Journal and Best Companies Group Best Places to Work Competition has Announced Swinerton Builders a Winner!
A survey and awards program designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in Orange County that benefit the county's economy, workforce, and businesses, the list is separated into three categories: Small-sized companies (15-49 U.S. employees), Medium-sized companies (50-249 U.S. employees) and Large-sized companies (250 and more U.S. employees). Swinerton Builders was named one of this year's Best Places to Work in Orange County in the Medium category.
To be eligible, companies had to fulfill the following requirements:
Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity
Be a publicly or privately held business
Have a facility in Orange County
Have at least 15 employees in Orange County
Be in business a minimum of 1 year
Companies from across the county entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Orange County. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Orange County, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.
The actual rankings will be published in the Orange County Business Journal's special report on the Best Places to Work in the October 29, 2012 issue of the Orange County Business Journal.
