Cartier Announces the Closing of a $500,000 Private Placement
(firmenpresse) - VAL-D'OR, CANADA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/04/12 -- Cartier Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: ECR) ("Cartier") announces the closing of a private placement conducted through Meadowbank Asset Management Inc. (Gestion d'actif Meadowbank) ("Meadowbank") for aggregate gross proceeds of $500,000.
In the aggregate, the following securities were issued by Cartier:
(a) 1,129,032 flow-through common shares at a price of $0.31 per share for aggregate gross proceeds of $350,000; and
(b) 576,923 common shares at a price of $0.26 per share for aggregate gross proceeds of $150,000.
The proceeds of the offering will be used by Cartier to conduct exploration programs and for general working capital.
Meadowbank received finder's fees aggregating $40,000. All securities issued pursuant to the offering will be subject to a four month hold period.
