Fujitsu today ships the first PRIMERGY servers with the newly released Windows Server 2012 operating system, providing immediate access to agile and flexible optimized infrastructures for diverse computing requirements. Fujitsu was also the first vendor worldwide to achieve certification for Windows Server 2012 pre-launch, and is first to offer a Cluster-in-a-box solution.
By choosing Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers, customers gain immediate access to the latest server hardware and software technology: fully-tested, pre-configured systems in Microsoft-validated configurations built to the exacting standards of Fujitsu. Thanks to close cooperation on development between Fujitsu and Microsoft, the new Fujitsu PRIMERGY rack, blade and tower servers and Fujitsu ETERNUS(R) DX disk storage systems running Windows Server 2012 are already proven to be stable and reliable.
Windows Server 2012, designed by Microsoft to "cloud optimize your IT," is the perfect complement to the market position of Fujitsu as the infrastructure enabler, providing lock-in-free cloud benefits such as business agility, to enterprises at all stages of cloud adoption.
Fujitsu today also announces optimized infrastructures designed for Microsoft workloads, making it easier for IT managers and CIOs to select infrastructure solutions scaled to their needs. Configurations pre-tested for individual system requirements feature factory-configured hardware and the Windows Server 2012 operating system, helping to minimize implementation workload for system deployment.
The first three of a growing number of solutions support growth and flexibility through system extensibility and integrated systems management.
