'The Book of Mormon' Tops the Event Rankings for Second Straight Month

(firmenpresse) - SOUTH WINDSOR, CT -- (Marketwire) -- 09/07/12 -- With help of the show's national tour beginning this month, the smash hit musical "The Book of Mormon" remained at No. 1 in ' Monthly Top Events rankings, as compiled from August 1-31, 2012.

Since its opening in March of 2011, "The Book of Mormon" has been one of the most popular musicals on Broadway. That success led to the creation of a national tour which in Denver, CO, and will move across the country hitting major cities including Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston.

Also making tour news in August was rocker Bruce Springsteen, who added . The new tour dates helped Springsteen move from out of the Top 20 in July, all the way up to No. 2 this month. "The Boss" will now be playing in cities including Pittsburgh, Louisville and Denver, before wrapping up the tour on December 6 in Glendale, AZ.
