The Book of Mormon Leads Top Events Rankings for September

(firmenpresse) - SOUTH WINDSOR, CT -- (Marketwire) -- 10/05/12 -- Tony-award winning Broadway hit, The Book of Mormon, launched its first national tour in August 2012, earning it the top spot on ' Monthly Top Events rankings for September 2012.

The in Denver, CO on August 14, 2012, and will travel across North America before wrapping up in Washington, D.C. in August 2013. Tickets for the tour have sold out rapidly in most cities, though show creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have reserved 24 tickets for nationwide lottery.

Fellow Tony-award winner Wicked joins The Book of Mormon on the Monthly Top Events at No. 5, due to its Broadway production and national tour, which recently included a 6-week stop in Las Vegas. Paul McCartney joined the rankings at No. 2, after . Lady Gaga debuted at No. 3 thanks to her 2013 Born This Way Ball Tour, scheduled for 26 shows throughout North America. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra was ranked for the first time as well, for in which they plan to perform the entirety of their 2004 album, The Lost Christmas Eve.
