Triangle Industries Ltd.: Transfer to NEX Board

(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/07/12 -- Triangle Industries Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: TIA.H) (the "Company") announces that effective at the opening on Friday, September 7, 2012, the Company's classification will change from Tier 2 to NEX. NEX is a separate board of TSX Venture Exchange for companies that have low levels of business activity or have ceased to carry on an active business.

Upon listing on NEX, the Company is subject to restrictions on share issuances and certain types of payments as set out in the NEX policies. The trading symbol for the Company will change from TIA to TIA.H. There is no change in the Company's name, no change in its CUSIP number and no consolidation of capital. The symbol extension differentiates NEX symbols from Tier 1 or Tier 2 symbols within the TSX Venture market.

The Company also announces that Lucas Marchak has tendered his resignation from the board of directors. The board thanks Mr. Marchak for his contributions to the Company and wishes him every success in the future.

Triangle Industries Ltd. continues to assess new opportunities with an overall goal of growing the Company.
