Era Training Center's AW139 Training Program Receives Part 142 Approval
(firmenpresse) - LAKE CHARLES, LA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/10/12 -- Era Training Center LLC (ETC) announced today that it has obtained FAR Part 142 approval for its AW139 training program. This approval allows ETC to issue pilot certificates upon successful completion of ground academics, flight training in the Flight Simulator Training Device (FSTD) and aircraft evaluation to include: ATP and type rating, ATP add-on rating, a type rating only, and/or recurrent training.
Era Training Center recently announced the qualification of its AW139 Flight Simulator Training Device as an FAA-certified Level 6 FSTD.

ETC also offers FAR Part 142 approved training programs in the AS350 B2 and EC135 CPDS P2+, as well as a variety of additional courses under FAR Part 61.
Era Training Center (ETC), a joint venture between Era Helicopters LLC and Frasca International, provides sophisticated, multidisciplinary helicopter flight training through innovative programs, state-of-the-art Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs) and real-aircraft flight training. ETC holds a FAR Part 142 Certificate, designating it as an FAA-approved training center, and also is certified by ANAC, the aviation authority of Brazil. ETC's existing Lake Charles, Louisiana, facility features three FAA-approved Level 6 FSTDs; the EC135 P2+ and AS350 B2 designed by Frasca International, and the AW139 designed by AgustaWestland, as prime contractor, partnering with Frasca International.
ETC offers diverse training programs that are provided to a wide array of helicopter personnel, including corporate, oil and gas, EMS, ENG, law enforcement, government and military users.
