Valor Gold Corporation Launches Its Geological Advisory Board
(firmenpresse) - RENO, NV -- (Marketwire) -- 09/11/12 -- (OTCQB: VGLD) announced today that it has created a Geological Advisory Board and added two prominent mining experts to the advisory board, Odin (Odie) Christensen and Winthrop (Win) Rowe. The newly created advisory board will provide a vehicle for participation by its members to evaluate, analyze and provide strategic direction to the Valor exploration effort.
Dr. Christensen is a 35 year veteran of the mining industry. Previously he worked for Newmont Mining Corporation and was Chief Geologist for over 8 years of his tenure. Dr. Christensen has recently been a consultant on a number of projects outside the United States. Dr. Christensen stated, "I am very excited to begin working with Valor Gold. I am extremely excited at the potential our properties have and look forward to helping the company realize the full potential from their properties."
Mr. Winthrop A. Rowe is our second addition to our Geological Advisory Board and brings with him over 29 years of mining experience. Throughout his career, Mr. Rowe has worked with Hanna Mining Corporation, Freeport McMoran, Pegasus Gold. Mr. Rowe has participated in exploration programs, which resulted in multiple new discoveries. Mr. Rowe stated, "I am looking forward to helping Valor Gold with its exploration program."
