Beak attends the 5th West&Central Africa Mining Summit
Advangeo® based gold predictive maps presented
(PresseBox) - Beak Consultants is exhibiting at the West & Central Africa Mining Summit held 11th/12th September 2012 in Accra/Ghana. As one of the premium mining countries in Western Africa and the second biggest gold producer on the African continent Ghana is hosting this important regional mining conference. Beak is presenting its unique neural network based advangeo® prediction software, and a number of gold predictive maps that have been compiled by using the software. One of these maps was created in 2011 together with the Geological Survey Department of Ghana during the participation in Phase I of the African European Georesources Observation System (AEGOS) project. The creation of mineral predictive maps was discussed with a number of public institutions and private exploration companies, e.g. with the Banro Corporation of the Democratic Republic of Congo (www.banro.com).
Beak is active in Ghana since 2005. In the frame of the EU funded Mining Sector support program, on behalf of the Minerals Commission (MC) and the Geological Survey Department (GSD) of Ghana, Beak Consultants GmbH has implemented the geological and mineral resources database of the country.
