New Social Web Service 'parentie' Empowers Parents

As a social network service designed to establish personal relations and communicate between parents who have children in identical nursery and educational institutions, parentie allows parents to automatically build personal networks and form communities by regions or educational institutions when they input the name of the city where they live and that of nursery facilities or educational institutions where their children belong.
Through this service, parents can organize communities by schools (grades) and exchange in-depth opinions on various current issues, such as alternative education and improvement of educational environments. And they can gradually improve nursery and educational environments based on their discussions. As it supports PCs and mobile environments, the service enables parents to communicate in real time.
Currently, the database on schools in the United States is available online allowing parents to form communities by schools. The company will expand the database to nursery facilities on a phased basis for the use of those parents who have younger children.
Having developed applications for PCs and smart devices (mobile web and an Android app), the company launched them for users of such devices. And it plans to support the environment of a variety of devices, including apps for the iPhone.
