Oak Street Funding Promotes David Christman to CIO

Christman joined Oak Street Funding in 2004 as director of information systems. He is responsible for all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, including networking, telephony, software development, and data analysis. He has managed the increasingly complex technology needs of the company during a period of rapid growth. Following a 36 percent increase in loans to insurance agents in 2011, Oak Street Funding is on pace for 300 percent growth in 2012.

Christman has more than 12 years of computer programming and data analysis experience, most of which focused on the insurance commission asset stream. Prior to joining Oak Street Funding, Christman developed several web-based and back-office systems, including a skills testing and assessment utility, several eCommerce sites for a national clothing retailer, and a web-based asset management system to monitor the performance of insurance commission assets and to evaluate new acquisitions. David earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from DePauw University.
