TimoCom presents Europe's largest warehousing exchange
The easy way to find and offer warehousing space
(firmenpresse) - Dusseldorf / Hannover, 2012-09-19. At this year's IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hannover TimoCom Soft- und Hardware GmbH presented a new exchange for warehousing and logistic space which is available all across Europe. For TimoCom it is the logical extension to its portfolio and the ideal addition to the existing range of products for the road transport spot and contract market. On top of that: the warehousing exchange will be of interest to other industries as well. After all it shows the largest amount of warehousing space in Europe - and that is not necessarily needed by companies from the transport and logistics industry only.
"With the warehousing exchange we are European market leader right from the start. We have already done a lot of work in advance and can now offer up to 30,000 warehousing and logistic possibilities to our customers", says TimoCom's Chief Representative Marcel Frings, "However, there is even more to it. We expect that companies from other industries will also use our warehousing exchange to benefit from TimoCom's wide range all across Europe."
The principle is simple and efficient
The warehousing exchange works like a virtual marketplace. Users can enter their needs such as, for example, warehousing type, size or location in the search field and receive an overview of available warehousing and logistic space that matches their search criteria. By means of this tool TimoCom customers can react even faster and more flexibly to possible bottlenecks.
Of course, the whole process also works the reverse way. Providers can place their available space with all the relevant information in the exchange and can be found by others very easily. This helps avoid unused space and optimise capacity utilisation.
