Today, more and more digital informaton in spread via web and email. People trust what they read without checking and not knowing if they look at correct and original content.
Any digital and electronic file can be manipulated. This is true no matter whether the file is a word processing document, a presentation, a spreadsheet, or a video recording, a voice recording, an Email, SMS or CAD and CAM files. Any digital and electronic file can be manipulated.
TruSeal is a software that takes care of that problem.
Encryption versus Open Trust:
Digital integrity enables Open Trust to take place. Unlike the traditional trust model, there is no need for trust between parties. For example - file exchange between partners A, B and C. A sends B an encrypted file for which they share a key. B opens the file, manipulates it, and sends it to C using their shared key. Because A and C trust B, there is no way that they will know that the file content has been changed. The circle of trust is gone. Digital integrity does not require trust between partners and its use in this situation would enable C to know that the file from A had been manipulated.
Image authentication:
You can not underestimate the importance of photographic evidence today. Political, legal and business users trust images that have been captured with modern digital cameras to base important decisions. Many times manipulated images have been used to make false statements. Leading photo companies have tried to offer solutions for that but failed. TruSeal can do that job.
Law Firm and insurance companyies:
Paper and ink signatures were seen as the only way to ensure the authenticity of documents. Digital Certificates can be difficult to use and Encryption requires circles of trust.
