Countdown Underway to Exciting New Lobby and The Bistro Experience
(firmenpresse) - DESTIN, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 09/24/12 -- Counting down on 60 days to a refreshing new lobby, one of the premier is undergoing a transformation that will bring its guests an exciting new place to be.
Beginning this major renovation on September 4, 2012 the move to the Courtyard brand's Refreshing Business Lobby is creating excitement at the Courtyard Sandestin at Grand Boulevard, a designing choice among , where guests are soon to be welcomed with vibrant new space. Featuring an open, bright and contemporary décor with vivid contrasting colors of blue, green, orange and red, the lobby's traditional front desk will be replaced with separate welcome pedestals to facilitate private and personal interactions at check-in.
Designed to give travelers the flexibility to work and socialize however they choose, the new lobby will include "The Bistro" where guests can "Eat. Drink. Connect." in a casual atmosphere with flexible seating and easier access to healthy menu options. The Bistro will offer a breakfast menu, light evening fare, snacks, wine and beer so guests can relax their way. Free Wi-Fi, an abundance of electrical outlets, a communal table and private media booths with high-definition televisions are all being added to allow guests space for meeting with friends or associates and options for working privately while still keeping up lobby activity.

"Guests want more control and choice with services and amenities that create a healthy balance between working and relaxing. We redefined the Courtyard lobby so it invites guests to get out of their rooms to work, socialize or for entertainment, whether traveling alone or with colleagues."
A signature element of the new lobby will be the Courtyard's exclusive GoBoard® technology, a 52-inch LCD touch screen packed with local information, maps, weather, news, business and sports headlines. Guests will be able to navigate using the touch screen to find , restaurants and directions. An enlarged business library will allow guests complimentary access to computer terminals and printer services with separate stations dedicated to printing airline boarding passes and checking flight status.
The new business lobby is scheduled to be completed by November 4, 2012, with hotel staff scheduled for Bistro training the week of October 22. Keeping the comfort of guests in mind during these exciting times, the Courtyard has transformed its meeting space into a reception area, food and beverage and business center, so guests of this relaxing and fitness services can expect the same amenities as in the past with as few interruptions as possible during the construction period. No guest rooms are involved in the renovation. For anyone who prefers, the hotel's sister property, The Residence Inn Sandestin at Grand Boulevard is conveniently located just one block east of the Courtyard.
