Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company Streamlines the Policy Document Process With Napersoft CCM Document Platform

Founded in 1891, Boston Mutual has been providing affordable insurance coverage for working people for over 120 years. Boston Mutual and its subsidiary sell in all 50 states. Because of varying state requirements, policies are complex and vary largely in content and length. Boston Mutual needed a document automation system that could improve the speed and quality of policy documents.
Boston Mutual successfully implemented Napersoft CCM to automate the creation of their policies. Napersoft CCM composes the policy through process-oriented workflows and open integration to Boston Mutual's mainframe application, renders it to a PDF document and distributes it to Boston Mutual printers.
Napersoft CCM has also improved employee productivity by making the template authoring process easy and efficient. Boston Mutual employees now have the power to create document templates using Napersoft CCM Author, an application built on Microsoft® Word technology. CCM Author allows employees to reuse components such as paragraphs and images across various document templates, enabling Boston Mutual to significantly reduce the number of policy document templates. "Although we have few templates for our policy documents, the complexity of our documents has not been compromised. Our templates include up to 40 reusable paragraphs, ensuring that our documents are tailored and specific to our clients," comments Sandy Carraggi from Boston Mutual.
Due to the organization's continued success with Napersoft CCM Document Platform, Boston Mutual is in the process of converting all billing letters to the solution and also plans to rollout Napersoft CCM to other departments within the organization.
