Melior Announces Appointment of Thomas Masney as Chief Financial Officer
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/01/12 -- Melior Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: MLR) ("Melior") announces that Mr. Thomas Masney has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") of Melior with effect from September 30, 2012.
Mr. Masney was until recently the CFO of Astar Minerals PLC (formerly Pan Pacific Aggregates PLC) which is listed on the London Stock Exchange - AIM. He is a Chartered Accountant and brings a wealth of experience in the mining industry and restructuring.
On behalf of the Board, Dr. Charles Entrekin, CEO and Chairman of the board of directors, said "We are confident that Thomas's experience will be a significant asset as we continue on our strategic path."
Mr. Masney is replacing Mr. Rishi Tibriwal following his resignation to pursue other opportunities. Dr. Entrekin said, "We would like to thank Rishi for his contribution to Melior and the hard work he has put in as CFO".
